Barva — Brand Identity

SELF-INITIATED BRAND CONCEPT | SPRING 2026

Barva is a fictional single-origin coffee brand built to practice packaging design across a multi-SKU product line. The name comes from Volcán Barva, a volcano in Costa Rica's Heredia Province. This origin story shaped the whole visual system, consisting of earthy browns, textured borders, and a set of geometric animal icons (a hummingbird, a monkey, & a jaguar) representing the wildlife found in that region.

Each roast level gets its own accent color and icon so the line reads clearly on a shelf, while typography, layout, and packaging structure stay consistent across all three.
